Harpenden RDA honoured at Buckingham Palace!

On April 6th, our Chairman, Tim Roberts and our Instructor, Lesley Stone were asked by the National RDA to attend Buckingham Palace in recognition of their long service to the Harpenden RDA Group. Needless to say this was a well deserved honour and they had a beautiful day in the palace gardens! Many congratulations to them both - as well as huge thanks for all they do.

2026 Sessions have restarted!

On Wednesday, February 18th we restarted our RDA sessions at Sandridgebury Stables. It is important to note that sessions are dependent upon availability of our volunteers, and sometime due to school and personal calendars, not everyone on our list of volunteers can attend. So, if you know of anyone who would love to support people with disabilities, and help them enjoy the outdoors on horseback, please aim them our way. Volunteer with us!

We are looking for volunteers for 1-2 hours a week on Wednesday afternoons. We meet at Sandridgebury Riding School, St Albans, AL3 6JB. We run 2 Outdoor Sessions for our riders from 4.15-5pm and then 5-5.45pm. New faces are always welcome and full training is provided! It is a great way to exercise in the fresh air, meet new people and support our riders!
